Sapa Golden Hour '23

This is a limited edition multi block lino print, using 3 colours.
Sapa Golden Hour has been designed in collaboration with Track Brewery. I was given free reign with these designs and enjoyed every moment working with Track's designer Amy and creative/events manager Stefan. They put a lot of faith in my abilities and I am so grateful for their trust!
 
Both this design and Ground After Glow (in shop) have been screen printed onto t-shirts and sweatshirts exclusively for Track Brewery. There is a very limited number available and they have been printed onto vintage clothing, keeping our sustainable ethos satisfied. 
 
Illustration inspired by a past trip to Vietnam. Staying in a homestay in the mountains of Sapa was an unforgettable experience, drinking homemade rice wine and laughing with the locals all added to the connection. Looking out across the rice paddies and natural streams filled me with joy, I felt beyond grateful to be there. 
Using yellow, rust and orange, I wanted to capture the warmth of the country, also reflecting the warmth of the people. The sunrises in the mountains were astonishing too!

Printed onto smooth Somerset 250g acid free paper.
Using lush Cranfield oil based, safe wash inks.
